Hi, I'm Katie
I started Katie Jennings LLC because I want to help people, and because I've always wanted to run my own business. I'd watch leadership at small companies pull ridiculous hours, sometimes because the work actually demanded it, but a lot of the time it came down to fixable inefficiencies. I care about efficiency, for myself and for the people I work with, and going out on my own let me do something about it.
Running operations for a corporate organization and assisting with operations for others led me to get my hands into nearly every part of the business: Strategy, Finance & Accounting, Marketing & Sales, HR, Research & Development, and more. Being close to all of it is what gave me the range and the confidence to go out on my own. I ask questions, and I'm always learning. That's how I solve problems, mine and my clients'.
Outside of work, my husband and I stay busy! We have a love for fostering kittens, exercising, and playing games together. If you give me an iced chai tea, a good DIY project, a walk in the sun, or a fantasy book, I'm happy :)
I'm based in Hampton Roads, Virginia, and I work with clients across the country.
