Hi, I'm Katie
I started Katie Jennings LLC because I've always wanted to run my own business, and because I kept hitting the same wall working for other people: watching leadership at small companies pull ridiculous hours, sometimes because the work truly demanded it, often just because of fixable inefficiencies I wasn't in a position to fix. I care about efficiency, for myself and for the people I work with, and going out on my own let me actually do something about it.
Before this, I managed operations for a corporate organization, hands-on with nearly every part of the business: HR, sales, project management, finances, analytics, licensing. Being close to all of it gave me the range and the confidence to do this on my own. I ask a lot of questions and I'm always learning, and that habit is how I solve problems, mine and my clients'.
Outside of work, my husband and I foster kittens, usually starting around six weeks old until they're spayed or neutered and ready for adoption. I'm happiest on a walk in the sun, and I'm almost always in the middle of a fantasy novel.
